Interventional Radiology

The Department of Radiology at RIMS trauma hospital offers a full range of diagnostic and treatment-related imaging services. We provide the best possible and sophisticated diagnostic facilities to inpatients, outpatients, and outside referrals 24 hours a day, seven days a week. In a compassionate, comfortable, and efficient atmosphere, our professional team of specialists uses state-of-the-art equipment to give high-quality imaging and image-guided treatments.

Radiology services include MRI machines, CT scanners, fluoroscopy machines, and state-of-the-art ultrasound devices with elastography and Doppler imaging capabilities. There is also the option of using mammography and OPG machines. The general radiography operations, including IVP and Fluoroscopy, are performed on a Computed Radiography System (CR) and a Digital Retrofit (DR), reducing patient waiting time and radiation exposure. A highly competent interventional radiology staff with Digital Subtraction Angiography (DSA) equipment delivers a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including vascular and non-vascular interventions. The department is transitioning to filmless radiology and is equipped with a powerful Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS)

The department has a team of highly experienced radiologists, research faculty, trained radiographers, and IT support staff, making it one of the advance interventional radiology departments.
